The Weighing Wall

scale.jpegI am so proud of myself!  I finally climbed the wall between myself and the scale. It was hard and mighty and tall, but I did it. God knows, it took me months. (I have not been able to weigh myself since I fell off the WW wagon last summer.)

The weight news was not great. I weigh what I did at the end of first trimester with my first daughter. It could have been worse. I could weigh what I did before I DELIVERED!

I say DIET and my body says RAVENOUSLY HUNGRY. But I followed Weight Watchers today. One day at a time...

Indeed, one day at a time. The first two weeks on WW is hell, I don't care what anyone says. But get through it and this new lifestyle will be second nature. YOU CAN DO IT! You are an amazing woman in so many ways...your weight does NOT define you...do this to be healthy for your family...I'm right there with you.

Finding time for excercise (and doing it) is a pain in the butt. I have discovered Jazzecise. Amazing excercise. And guess what? FUN! I started at the Lang Park Rec center (Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 am) a couple years ago (my son goes to Anneliese next door) and I am now training to be an instructor - my big goal for 2008. The first class is free so what do you have to lose? I promise you will be hooked. And the 400 - 600 calories you burn in a class ain't bad either. The increased energy you will have and the good nights sleep are another plus. Email me and I'll tell you more or even meet you at a class to give you moral support. You can do this. We have to support each other!
