Mother's Day Recap

mom.jpegI don't think I have ever been so happy to see Mother's Day come...and go. I have been working toward the MDay book goal for over five months and to have made it with the book in hand was a pure dream.

My hubby let me sleep in--keeping the kids quiet and out of the house for several hours. We had some lunch from Wahoo's, went for a hike with my daughter (who got blisters so we had to turn around), and then went out to dinner for delicious Thai food and a celebratory Mai Tai.

I only went online once to get the phone number for take-out 'cuz I was not going to cook.

How about you?  Was it good for you too?

I love mother's day. My husband gets his most creative and appreciate on Mother's Day. This year he took the kids to a park and had them spell out "Happy Mother's Day" and "I Love You" with their bodies. Then he printed the photos and hung them in my office and kitchen.

In previous years he put the babies in giant Mother's Day Cards holding chocolate and Love letters.
